Why are there so many Communist/Socialist apologists on this board, and why does it seem that a disproportionate number of them are Irish.

Because most people on /his/ are jobless, or wage enslaved, fucks from moderately well off backgrounds, like Marx.
Essentially, they're mad that they're not casually wealthy, and can only afford moderately priced luxuries, confusing moderate wealth with poverty.
As for youth as a whole, the Universities they go to for their basket weaving degrees are expensive, and they have to work shitty jobs to repay massive loans.
They think Socialism means taking from the rich people and getting super awesome stuff all the time, instead of shit tier NHS,...

How did they go from East Aryans to WE WUZ QINGZ N SHET mudblood Han-Man mongrels?
>>1164587
Is it true that mothers used to suck on their baby boys penises and fathers did the same to daughters as a way of being playful with them?

>How did they go from East Aryans
When was that? Genuinely interested, I'm ignorant on pre-qing manchu history.

The Greeks, long since united under Rome, fought for self governance from the Turks.
Why did the Italians, long since united by the Romans, and more importantly the Romans/Latins not fight for reestablishing the Roman identity? Why not Italy as a whole?
Was Rome really just a "pope" city?
>>1164441
Maybe because Italy did not become completely irrelevant after the fall of Rome and had more to it than muh heritage.
>>1164441
Well, Italy was part of the HRE
>>1164441
The greeks had a monolithic and alien entity ruling over them, the italians ruled themselves, or at worst were part of HRE
So /his/...
How'd this happen? A lot of countries and balkanization.

Is there any expert in art history who can explain to me why people didn't learn how to draw until the late middle ages? We have all these examples of great sculptures and architecture from antiquity but there aren't any great illustrations & paintings.
>>1164106
Creating the appearance of depth on a flat surface required specialized materials and techniques. It's a lot easier, as it turns out, to create a three-dimensional look on something which exists in three dimensions.
>>1164106
Check out the Pompei frescos and wall paintings senpai.

So people just forgot how to draw after the collapse of the roman empire?

Aside from the scandal ( which is nothing by today's standards ) I feel he was a pretty great president do you think history will absolve him?

When the baby boomers die off, that's when he'll be loved.
I feel like I was born too late to properly hate Nixon, the way Hunter Thompson did.
>>1163566
I think history will take a generally neutral view of him.
Can someone please explain his man's popularity other than the macho Scarface rise and fall story?
>appoints Joseph Fouché as head of secret police, even though the guy is a murderous psychopath

The biggest meme is the modern revolutionboos masturbating to this guy even though he recreated the very thing revolution was striving to abolish.

Monarchism.
Is there a single logical reason to not kill yourself?
As far as I can tell the most compelling argument is it would make your loved ones upset. Which would be solved if they also killed themselves and so forth until the entire human race is extinct.
Why would I need a logical reason to keep on living?
>>1163411
>Is there a single logical reason to not kill yourself?
You want the edgy answer or do you want a good answer?
When did the aristocracy go from "rule by the best" to "fancy fucks who contribute nothing to society"?
>>1163051
Since inception.
When you have to defend your right to rule it's because people already call you a useless idiot and contest your competence. See also: divine right.
When the "rule by the best" generations started todie off and only people born to the title remained.
>>1163051
It was never rule by the best.
Also when Louis XIV built Versailles and removed nobles from their lands and obligations and had them play court intrigues instead.
Like the House of Bonaparte
>>1162782
>Gather political influence.
>Declare yourself king.
Like that.
>>1162791
If you create a House, what direction should you go?
Should you create a lineage directly like Osman I in the House of Osman or should you create a House of Bonaparte for the entire family like Napoleon?
Are you asking where babies come from?
What are the most historically accurate movies/TV shows?

If you mean the latter than there simply is none.

Shit I meant to reply to the OP
Can we have a discussion on atrocities, because even though Hitler killed about 7 million people, but Stalin reportedly killed 10 million and when compared to the famines caused by the British empire is about 15-20 million and Mao's great leap caused the deaths 3,000,000? I'm just confused how these capitalist countries get away with it but communist and fascist dont.
It's interesting that commies managed to kill more people during peacetime than Hitler did during a fucking war.
>>1162271
Because you (almost certainly) live in a capitalist country, so those atrocities are either ignored or blamed on something beside the economic system in place.
>>1162298
Pretty obvious desu.
