Guys the holocaust really happened
Anybody else find the Cold War to be a very romantic conflict?
Two empires with differing but equally sincere visions of liberation and democracy tried to bring freedom to the world. Unlike WW2, there was no clear hero, as both sides could a lot from the other.
It really is a twentieth century Trojan War.
The Soviets were the villains with their ideals infecting the West and slowly destroying it like a cancer. The problems of today a result of the Soviet cells in the West and their blossoming. Their ideals were wholly based on Judeo-Marxism and the old Russian Empire. Stalin killed millions of people and his successors did the same.
How were relations between Austria and Spain after Charles V split them between his son and his brother up until the Defenestration of Prague?
Geoffrey Parker talks quite a bit about it in his book about the 30 years war (source of pic related). But it's been a long time and I don't remember the details of that specific part. I only remember there were ups and downs.
I hope other anons will give better sources and explanations, since I'm interested too.
Hello catholics of /his/. What is the catholic church's opinion on race mixing? I'm thinking of converting to catholicism, but I also want to race mix like the cool rappers on tv. Anything from the magisterium that talks about it?
/pol/bait but you Chriscucks claim that yours is the only true god and that the nations of the world should only worship him. Complete with missionary efforts even.
You are the last to complain about multiculturalism and race-mixing.
Stop saying Polish charged German tanks on horseback during the invasion of Poland. That never happened. Cavalry units in WWII were for moving to point A to point B quickly and they rarely engaged the enemy on horseback. Cavalry charges happened sometimes but were very opportunistic and rarely used.
The Polish cavalry charge during the battle of Poland was actually successful. Polish cavalry charged a German infantry regiment and routed them.
I will soon become an history teacher and I will tell the kids that Poland was defeated thanks to the classic mistake of not doing a single intelligent thing and charging against tanks with cavalry spearmen.
I thought the We Wuz Kangs thing was just a meme with very few people actually believing it.
But now is see that its widely believed and accepted. How long until it becomes mainstream and history is ruined in favour of propaganda? Will the upper levels of educated true historians ever come to accept it?
Did Stalin do anything wrong?
>The Thracians are the most powerful people in the world, except, of course, the Indians;
>the most powerful people in the world, except, of course, the Indians;
>Where they burn books, they will also ultimately burn people
What did he mean by this?
What did he meàn by that?
Are China and Singapore technocracies?
Lee Hsien Loong is a mathematician, but he's a career politician by trade.
A good chunk of the PAP are doctors, but most of them are businessmen, public servants and "soldiers". There are doctors, yes, but it's a shrinking minority. I don't remember any engineers or computer scientists in the PAP. Fuck, Singapore has a crisis of engineers and computer scientists leaving the country.
China might be a lot closer to the technocracy. It sounds like they have a ton of engineers in the CCP.
Too many Mosley threads. What went wrong with Rockwell? If he'd played his cards right and not gone too right, he would have been Eisenhower's VP at the very least.
He dressed up like a Nazi when it was the biggest taboo possible
>Man walks on the moon, everyone flips their shit
>fast forward 40 years later
>not a SINGLE colony has been established outside Earth.
>people are okay with this
What the heck happened??
Can't make this shit up
>On 1 May 1985, Đorđe Martinović, a 56-year-old resident of the Kosovo town of Gnjilane, arrived at the local hospital with a broken bottle wedged in his rectum. He claimed that he had been attacked by two Albanian-speaking men while he was working in his field. After being interviewed by a Yugoslav People's Army colonel, Martinović reportedly admitted that his injuries had been self-inflicted in a botched attempt at masturbation. Public investigators reported that "the prosecutor...
