Is there a more satisfying moment in history?
What was this guy's problem ?
What does /his/ make of this guy? I can't decide whether he's one of those one-in-a-million geniuses that normal people simply cannot comprehend, or if he's just a raving lunatic that somehow managed to get a PhD
let's assume the americans develop the a-bomb before the war in Europe ends
would they drop it over Berlin?
Does Satanism hold any merit or is it just a religion for edgelords?
Actual Satanist here.
Obviously as a rational, atheistic religion with a focus on empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives, it has far more merit than any theistic religion.
Godfags use 'edgelord' as an insult, but what they are really saying when they use the term is that 'these people make fun of me so I don't like them."
The truth is that godfags are the biggest edgelords that have ever existed. Godfags literally claim that you are inherently evil and will suffer eternal torment unless you live by their life-denying rules....

Why do priests often been portrayed as pervert, evil and corrupt guys in literature, movies and games ?
Why was Japan so willing to industrialize while many other non-western countries were not? Not only did China refuse, but pretty much every other regional powers expelled westerners out.
Seriously, you look at these pics of ancient warriors and it makes you wonder how people managed to fight with hair like this.
It gets sweaty, hangs in your face and eyes at the worst moments, the foe can grap it and if you sleep in bad conditions with your squad it surely has a hygenic drawback too.
Long hair > short hair.
Short hair is for degenerates while long hair is for superior men. If you cut your hair you are doing what the army wanted you to do prior to WWI. Long hair is a much more ancient ideology then some shitty swag fuckbois fresh trim.
Who would win in a street fight?
As much as I hate to say it, probably Patton. He actually did have dedicated hand to hand combat training as part of his stint in the cavalry, and as far as I know, none of the others did, although I could easily be wrong.
>another player has entered the game
This guy, he has a mouth full of metal teeth, after being torutered by the NKVD and was a key figure in the Russians winning Stalingrad. Plus he just looks like a bear, man.
I know this isn't the standard thread in /his/, but I recently started studying philosophy and have the opportunity to study a language on the side. Which would be useful for philosophy? I hear German is neat because you can read many western philosophers in their native tongue, but I also have thought chinese would be cool to be able to read all the ancient chinese things (i.e. Art of War) untranslated. What does /his/ think?
Chinese is overly complicated, plus German isn't that hard if you already know English. You might want to take a look at French and Italian too.
Could also learn Latin since it's easy and there's some cool stuff in it but it's, well, a dead tongue.
Why were the Italians such massive fuckups during WW2? Any good books on the subject?
Because their government was a colossal clusterfuck owing to the relative fascist weakness and needing to bring in influential people from other powerbases to prevent a loss of confidence and them being thrown out of government (which happened anyway in 1943)
A good book (although it deals with quite a few other things) is the Path to Victory, by Douglas Porch.
Is there a western medieval equivalent to Miyamoto Musashi?
Namely, someone who was so uniquely skilled in martial combat that he became a near-legendary figure, maybe even penning philosophical or literary works, memoirs, anything. Someone who stands above all others as a machine bred for the death of other men, but did not devolve into lechery, alcoholism, instead retaining an untarnishable sense of honor.
Or, honestly, anyone with Mushashi's record of 60 wins in 1v1 deathmatch
who is this man?
Was getting caught part of your plan?
Any evidence of Hannibal's skin color? In this painting from 1510 he is portrayed as black, and in a lot of busts and sculptures he has negroid features aswell.
