I've been thinking about Gnostic theology a bit and I think I've stumbled onto a road block. Here me out.
Points to consider:
0. The book of Genesis only describes God creating material things. He for instance create's man's body but not his thoughts and mind. This ultimatly minds that the human mind is like God, uncreated. It also means he is only a God of the material not the immaterial. This means either all immaterial things are uncreated or there is another God making the immaterial.
1. The mind/thoughts/immaterial is greater than the body/material....

Dropped.

The mind participates in the nature of the divine in its natural state, but is adulterated by the conditioned nature of the material. in other words, it's living down here in the trenches that makes bad thoughts and shit happen, not God

If the tradional God is the creator and maintiner of the material world, and the material world is a distraction doesn't that just affirm the Gnostic belief?
So please answer. Does god create and sustain immaterial things? If he does why would he create material things as a distraction? Why does the Old Testament never mention him doing this?

why couldn't the Jews just leave him alone? All he wanted to do was create a classless social state of the highest culture.
Daily reminder that World War II was declared on Germany not because of muh treaty was broken, but because Jews wanted money.

I love how there is this dichotomy with Hitler and the Nazis where they did some horrible stuff but they also did some great stuff and the German people as a whole prospered and had great lives under them under the war.
Even if some parts of the Holocaust were exaggerated the Nazis still did some pretty bad stuff but at the same time in some areas they were really progressive and its funny to think that contrast.

Why did Hitler spout very anti-jewish rhetoric in mein kampf? Why did Hitler invade Poland? Why did Hitler go to war with the USSR? Why did Hitler ally with the utterly incompetent Italians, and the Japanese whom he probably hated deep down?
>classless society
Hi /pol/. Yes, that was a top goal of hitler, as he was a national SOCIALIST. Very good find xD.

How do people tolerate others who don't see the value of history?
Mythology isn't history, dumbass

We don't. We don't tolerate ignorance. If you choose to, then so be it.

Sorry, I'm leaving out some context here. That's what the conflict eventually ended up, him saying that knowing things such as the culture and religion of historical people's was not valuable.

Was the book War and Peace by Tolstoy factual about Napoleon and the war of 1812?
>>1269886
Not really. There's a lot of Anti-Napoleon hate and it's a bit propagandic. Also it protrays Koutouzov as a military genius when Barclay de Tolly was the key behind the defeat of the Emperor during the russian march.
>>1269909
Yes, they shit talk Barclay, but was it because he was a german?
Koutouzov definitely was struggling... I don't think the book makes him sound like a hero, more like a quiet genius. My personal interpretation with Kout. (from the books) is that he lost him mind and just happen to get lucky when the Russian officers began taking over their own men. Ignoring the old general/ faux-prince
>>1269945
No, he was Russian but with a Scottish background and a German speaking upbringing.

No, but it its Jews who are butthurt that they never had a nation with great culture and heritage other than what was recently created on Palestinian land.

While Germans have often done much harm to Europe, I think it is important to remember the role that the eternal Swede played in dividing Europe in religious wars and how it is unyielding in its support of Germany's modern attempt at destroying Europe.

Why did Latin stop being the main lingua franca? Did a bunch of hipsters in the late middle ages just decide "duuuude, fuck it, lets not learn the language of diplomacy, education, literature, and commerce, lets learn FRENCH HONHONHON!"
