For fucks sake, I tried to warn you guys last thread to stop spamming the entire damn folder of the M3$$ygir| stuff. Back then you never had to worry about producers in the threads, so it wasn't a big deal, but lately it's like the gestapo up in here, so it probably gets caught easier.

That far back, nobody had to worry about that sort of thing. It was a different time anon...a more innocent time...before the darkness came...
Back in the early days (2 to 3 years ago) this was a haven for sharing and there were lots of files. Then an absolute noob posted about us on UMD forums and since then we have had producers killing files on a regular basis.
This gets worse when they think we are getting too prolific, a while back there were several producers watching the thread 24x7 and killing all links within minutes. After a while things calmed down and less was shared and the producers backed off as a rule. Odd files were killed but life was bearable.
Then at the end of the last thread another idiot went and effectively said "hey here are 50 mega links to files or folders, come and get them" so the producers did - he had made it far too easy for them to do a simple cut and paste and report all the links to mega in one go, and the added bonus for the producers is that it will probably kill a few accounts as well with other stuff that is uploaded but not released yet, I lost two accounts and a ton of stuff because of this.
Yes, there are some mega links out there still that are active, but for gods sake, don't repost them time and time again until they get taken down, 95% or more of us have already seen them anyway so it is benefitting only a small number.
And regarding whether the links were your own or others Mega, and most other filesharing sites, practice deduplication. If your link matches another file exactly (which it will, we don't alter the files) then they link to that file and ditch your upload. If the file is reported then everybody who has that file will find it has been killed. I am always having to clean dead files from my mega accounts nowadays as the links are shared time and again elsewhere.

Perhaps store the files somewhere and have a proxy relay. Or ave a file share list that routes though a traffic logger that can correlate when a file gets taken down and blacklists ips from getting direct file links. I mean it wont stop them from taking them down in the long run, but it will allow the links to persist for a few days to increase there share ratio.
I'm up for a good challenge.
