I just realized the biggest problem I have with this chapter is that last page in ch6 gave me fucking hope. I thought there was actually a possibility of her turning this shit show around, hard break get back on to a life that could go somewhere, and then this chapter has her starting off clearly months later, no better off and downhill from there. If the whole story was just a steady downhill of abuse and degradation I don't think I would've been nearly as upset by the last chapter but not for that one optimistic moment. That is the most fucked up part of this whole story. Not even the rape-beating of a pregnant woman into a miscarriage, the fucking hope is the worst part.
