It's easy, just keep your husband around.
Although the game is crazy grindy. I'd suggest using cheat engine and giving yourself 100,000 exp and just rushing the floors.
Recall that for rpg maker games all values are x*2 + 1
So 10 is 21 and 567 is 1135.
Even if you don't want to cheat still use it to use the speed hack and make the game run faster. It's painfully slow.
A purity run will skip 95% of the game and you just grind away with a not great combat system killing mobs.

You hand the rope over to a guy standing near a chasm. He will use the rope to build a bridge. It's sorta north with a tiny bit east of the start point and makes a short cut to the end. That leads to the room with the gobs and the heal/hurt crystals. Kill the gobs (or lose first then kill them) to advance. Pic related.

Depends really. VNR is often pretty buggy and updates can potentially fuck things up with it until they release another update. ITH alone is a reliable text hooker while VNR is the entire package (ITH, machine translation integration, etc) with benefits. If you want to use VNR go ahead. But I find if that doesn't work out too well you can simplify things down with ITH hooking the text and then using another program like Chiitrans2 or Translator Aggregator to run that hooked text through machine translators.

Oh. If you're trying to hook CM3D2 with just vanilla ITH then it won't hook sadly. VNR can hook into the game but it's wishy-washy with the text threads. It also only hooks into the x86 version.

At 8hrs a day that's 240 hours for a month working every day.
No not that long. The actual amount of text isn't the large. Between a machine translation and being able to read like a retarded Japanese 3rd grader a person that actually works and isn't taking 5 hour breaks to play games or constantly using social media, you know actually putting in effort can rip through them very fast.
The most complex part is if you need to screw around with the scripting and file naming.
