It's from the w/a/ifu drawthread. It cost the ban of the requester, you know how baiters are in there, the anon asked for something vanilla with her and untied hair, some anons started to make the "rape elf" joke again, and then somebody did this... only that this is an edit, the hands were actually orc's one with the post saying "Orcs are vanilla right?". It triggered the requester like you have no idea, and then two other variations happened, one with black nigga hand (no joke,I am serious) and one with horse hands.... the rest should be obvious. The authot maded clear that he will give everything he can so the game can be finished. He also want this to be maded, matter fact, this was actually intended to be a Visual Novel first but there were problems so he failed to do that, then he decided for the comic route and failed too, but he never gived up and then decided to go for the RPG and thanks to that persistence he is almost finishing ep 1 even if it is slow.
So I say he doesn't intend to cancel it, let's hope and pray that good things comes in his way so he can finish it without problems

Same structure as the VN and anime, 4 chapters, first is based on the first 2 episodes of anime (and VN), second chapter is based on the third episode, third chapter is based on the fourth episode, and fourth chapter is original since it's final battle, with some extras I think

Why are you sad? The RPG fangame could be easily be a canon in your head, just because Word of God (aka Liquid and most Japan) shit created doesn't mean it can decide which is canon or not. It's like the novels of JoJo (Purple Haze Flashback for example), that are technically not canon but most of them fit the story too well that people take it as canon even if Araki himself say that is not (even Eyes of Heaven can be canon). The creator already say that you can make it canon if you want it. Matter fact, he say that he will make a reference of the original Kuroinu in the last chapter as "What if we failed or didn't start this rebellion". I don't know if the guy from "Denial of Enjoyment" plans something similar as it is a crossover with Bloodborne.
I also plan to do some references to the original Kuroinu when I learn to draw mangas, so don't be sad, know that at least there are 3 person who are taking their fanworks seriously, if it is canon or not, depends of the person who maded or read it/play it, in the sense of thinking "It's just a fanwork and therefore not canon" or "It's a fanwork but I consider it canon because I like it"

I must say, I regret being /a/utistic with Kuroinu, because now, everytime an elf thread is posted in /a/ it is instantly filled with at least 3 Kuroinu pics saying RAPE and a lot of whiteknights raging the shit out of their hatred. Not to mention the Chloefag, not in the sense of "Chloe fans", but a certain Chloefag that gets triggered...... *sigh*
To make it worse, I tried to search dark elf hentai or dark elf vanilla hentai, the first one, it is FILLED with Kuroinu pics, and the second one shows some actual vanilla manga with dark elves but it's also filled with the other tags, INCLUDING Kuroinu.
If I could tell my past self to not join the trollbait that this overrated series has maked so I stop feel guilt and responsibility I fucking do it, because I seriously can't understand how this series has made a lot of people literal autist. With that being say, I hope the creator of this game is succesfull, same for the guy with the fanfic with Bloodborne (that it is fun I must admit) and hope this two serves for inspiration for others to make their own version of happy dark elves, not only Kuroinu (though at this point I rather Liquid or somebody else do a more vanilla and happy version of this series so it can slap the shit out of some trolls and calm the autist knights, and this is coming from a guy who is mostly ok with any genre (that can tolerate) as long it shows many endings and it's not the only "lolrapecockwindarkelfrapekek" that Kuroinu has made a trope). Volt is the leader and his two right and left hand are Hicks and Kin, and that's everything we know, some people have come to the conclusion that Kin's profile and character are really suspicious to be only "The Right Hand", more when you consider his "interest on forbidden spells". But that's all the story we can get. All the rest is just a lineal way that is pretty much served to defeat and rape the girls easily. As far as I know, the VN does not any better, matter fact, it does literally nothing more than just chat to know how is each character and nothing more.
There is no literal backstory for the character save from Chloe. And even then is deppresing as fuck

And sometimes, the past of someone could make you feel sympathy or not even if you know what that person did. However, Chloe's life was pretty much a disaster from the moment she was born, and there is no information how she was born (since she is a half breed, so the common answer is that she was born pretty much from a raped dark elf, probably dead now). And let's not forget that her owner was Mr. John, aka more than an asshole; a corrupted noble asshole, meaning that he was disliked even by his own people. Some people sadly ignore that a child have and MUST live a strict but happy life, teaching things that can't do and must do, but not stopping them of doing things that child have to do and is to be happy and live with love, something that even in the real world fail to do sometimes. It is a common fact that a kid that have gone into a traumatic event(and that's counting more than rape), would have a hard time dealing with that when she/he grows up, even if he gets all the help since that precise moment, and may become into a criminal, into nothing or in some cases, into somebody that want to help other peoples (sadly this is very uncommon). Either Kuronui is a rape bait game, or its vanilla, trying to make too many routes will make the game cost more than it would earn otherwise.
You would need to pay a artist do draw each route and a writer to work the plot if you are not writing it yourself, you have also to pay the voice actors, which more likely than not will be paid for each voice line, make a game with too many characters and the price of voicing them all will be sky high.
You still have to worry about sound effects, a decent programmer to make sure the game does not crash every five seconds, marketing, licensing and more.
If you make a vanilla game you have to worry if your game will sell against all the other vanilla games, the same for a rape bait game, add piracy and making a game and selling enough to cover the costs can become a nightmare.
For all we know Kuronui was going to be a vanilla novel, but was changed to rape bait because they were not confident in selling kuronui in the vanilla market, in the end of the day those guys still have bills to pay just like the rest of us.
