Going to dump some favorites but I also have a question. How do most /h/ users feel about anime, manga, etc? I personally don't like any of it but love hentai. Do you all like anime or do more of you see this just as porn than I think?
And if you just see it as porn, what makes you like it compared to traditional porn? I don't think regular porn can capture the beauty of sex in pictures very well and it is much easier to create a scene like this than with real girls. On top of this there's the obvious every picture is perfect argument.

I've enjoyed some anime series, but I wouldn't call myself an anime lover by any means.
There's a few reasons I prefer to use hentai, one of which is that there are no 'hentai industry' victims like there is in the porn industry. Also, no bad acting.
I also think it makes me think more, about what it is that I find attractive and what exactly the artist is doing to capture it.
Also there's the fact that there's just a lot that's possible in hentai that can't be done in live action.

personally I love all sorts of anime, Iam a huge fan and I watch a lot of series. I also love Japanese culture, which is reflected in anime.
Having that said I love hentai but I am also a fan of Japanese porn, but hentai is way better still.
I also like to collect ero manga's (hentai manga) because it's a special feeling to hold it in your hand.

the human aspect is something I didn't really think about either. reading some of the horror stories people have gone through in porn definitely makes me appreciate hentai more.

pretty similar experience desu, I remember stumbling onto something and getting hooked. I love hentai though, its kind of a guilty pleasure I guess. I do like h-games a bit.

I watch anime on a fairly regular basis. As I started watching more and more anime, I started looking at more and more hentai, and now I do about 50% h and 50% 3dpd

Aside from a handful of series, I've never really into anime overall. I can handle some ecchi series but even then, I'm watching for the hot girls the same as I do when watching hentai.
I often feel like a fraud when around actual anime fans; hard to say "I'm just like beating off the to the girls" with a straight face.
Talking about anime and not just strictly fap material here.
I compare anime to dating: you have to sort through a lot of crap to find one worth taking home with you. I don't like most anime: too predictable, or they get stagnant in their character development or storyline, or they're just not well-written. This seems to be especially bad for anime series adapted from manga, and I suspect the original manga has the same problems. To me, the better anime are the shorter ones- they don't have time to get old.
I watch a lot of anime (and play some games, not really into VNs though) and mostly come here to see hentai of my favourite characters. I watch everything, generally I like Iyashikei (Slice of life / Moe) to classics from the 80s, I watched Bubblegum Crisis not too long ago and I've been watching Dirty Pair and the original Sailor Moon, but I also watch stuff like Ghost in the Shell and Mushishi.

There have been a few series I liked but most of them are manime like JoJo and Berserk. Never bothered with moe series and never will. Most of it is trash that's only good for r34, never saw the appeal of watching shows with cute girls unless it had porn.
