I'm looking to re-organize my collection and was wondering how others do it and if using tags on each image is a good idea or not. Will post some of my collection :D

Two main folders
Pictures
Videos
Pictures/3D
Pictures/Hentai
Pictures/Real
videos/3D
videos/Hentai
videos/Real
I have some folders in hentai for game-cg sets, but asside from that if I go farther into organizing than that I feel like I am wasting my life.

Libraries>Pictures>Genre(4chan, animals, Anime, Cat, Computer.... Hentai....)>Animated Series ([Unsorted], Advance Wars, Attack on Titan..... League of Legends.... Nintendo.... Pokemon..... Zelda).
Inside their respected anime or VG or cartoon series folder, they sit together in the folder. Same with music
Libraries > Music > Everything
Thanks for all the input. It does seem going beyond just putting anything in its anime named folder would be a bit much but my OCD demands more :(. Maybe when I get imaged I want to keep that are not part of an anime I can make some folders for common tags or maybe try and do it by artists.
