also ur characters dont have to look exactly like the originals... just very close enough... the customization is imited after all
I tried creating originals but some need a mod to create... like Tifa's face... or Shimakaze's hair

also I am aware there is a database for these custom characters... u can tell by the SBPR or long date+number sequence file names... I would like ur creativity to make ORIGINAL CREATIONS and not just copy and paste characters from a website... no one will criticize ur work
I tried my best to make Liru the Werewolf with what I could work with... it's not perfect, but close enough...

I do however take some from the database and twerk it a little to make than more accurate via photos/pictures on the web from the game/anime... like this one, this Rikku from FF X was from the database and required a hair mod, but I changed the hair style to match the program so anyone can use her
Its funny most characters that look good actually have really weird proportions in the game.
I assure this one has not. Will share more.
