So I downloaded the firefox extension, made an account, deleted cookies and restarted browser, went to the site, and found the login. I entered my login (correctly), but the page kept taking me back to the login screen. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, what am I doing wrong?

It's an RPG where you stat out a character and "fight monsters". There are no fancy images or animations; just mindless clicking. You level up, get skills, earn credits used to buy weapons, ect. Pure, mindless grinding without all the fluff and hassle you get with other RPGs who lie to themselves about what they really are.

For OP and everyone else trying to log into exhentai.org. Here is the steps that worked for me, and will most likely work for you. You will not need any extensions.
1. Delete your cookies. If you don't know how, use ccleaner -> http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/download/3344dcbbf178985fed4ce8b94003a161/
2. DO NOT GO TO EXHENTAI.ORG!
3. Go to e-hentai.org and create a user profile -> http://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00
4. Go to g.e-hentai.org and login -> http://e-hentai.org/bounce_login.php?b=d&bt=1-1
5. You can now access exhentai.org
6. IF STEP 5 FAILS: Some people say you'll have to wait some time (a week or two) before the cookie you got in step 4 works. So if you still see the sad panda in step 5, do the following:
-> Delete cookies again
-> Login at g.e-hentai.org again
-> Wait a week or two and try access exhentai.org.

As this anon says, the more hardcore and taboo stuff is on exhentai.org. It means if you get the "file has been moved" message on g.e-hentai.org, you'll most likely find it on exhentai.org. Reversely, you might find mroe vanilla work on g.e-hentai.org than on exhentai.org

I did what this anon said. Finally worked !!! I used Cookie Manager (plugin). Also I runned ccleaner this time, you might as well want to do this.
To give you a picture on how much I got stuck until it finally worked (tried everything for several months), I'm level 101 on HH.
I had lost all hope but now I can access exhentai.

Yep, just went through again. First ran ccleaner, deleting cookies in Firefox, IE and Chrome (even though I only use Firefox). Then went and manually deleted cookies in Firefox options menu, then did a full clear in history. Went to g.ehentai, logged in with an account I made two days back when this bullshit started, modified the cookies using cookie manager+, went to exhentai.org , fucking panda. I even disabled the addon that I used to use to get past the panda.
At this point I'm just at a loss. It shouldn't matter if the account I'm trying to sign in with was registered with a 10 minute mail address should it? Apart from that I can't think of anything else to try.

A few years ago the guys who do ads on e-hentai decided they didn't want to sponsor a site that showed bestiality, guro and shota/loli. This was likely not a choice on their behalf but some moral justice warriors spamming them with e-mails.
There was a very real chance it was all going away.
But the creator of the site decided he'd just make two sites, The standard one gets cash from the ads and maintains porn they find acceptable. The other site is relatively private.
