For the people downloading C89/newer doujins from sad panda, what do you prefer?
> Chinese translated scans with watermarks, raw versions usually dont get released.
> Low-res scans, around 2-4mb each, usually uploaded by the same guy (pop9).
I used to download every single of them, but this year I'm tired of having garbage in my computer. Do you download everything or just wait for months until a better version comes?

Chinese moonrunes or japanese moonrunes all hold the same amount of information for me (i.e. none), so I just download the higher quality version. Then replace it when it gets translated.

I'm curious these low resolution scans of C89, why do they have so huge filesize? There are also scans least 4x the resolution at the same file size.

Most of them are uploaded by pop9, but people think they are his own scans and in fact, they are not.
He gets them from japanese websites which upload doujins at this size. And not only that, they are always incomplete (lack of extra pages like credits or bonus illustrations).
About its size, I'm sure pop9 "resizes" them for adding kb weight. It's a common work for GP collectors. It does not add quality but this way they can upload a "newer and better version" later and earn thousands of GP again.
