Hey /gd/. What makes a blog's design good or bad? I want to remake my personal blog layout which currently sucks and I'm looking for tips. Thanks.

good typography. look at medium as a baseline example. readable body text, line height, size, letter spacing, width of the page are all important for comfortable reading. and lots of pretty, well-integrated photos and headers make it more scannable so people don't click away as soon as they see a wall of text.

a good line length is ~11-15 words per line, you've probably noticed that blogs with text running really wide across the page are fuckin chore to read.
