Any idea on how to create the line/blueprint kind of pattern going on with this artwork? I can't work out how it's been done, but it looks awesome :(

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much. I knew what I wanted I just didn't know what it was, thanks

autocad/ sketchup. sketchup has a free version. you can make a some figures or download something from the online librar. then chose in options to visualize only "wireframed" model and exported in jpg, then use it in photshop or somethin
>>
>>248824
would it export as a render? i suppose i could just select and delete by colour couldnt i

You can export CAD formats (ie vectors) from SketchUp. This might be a pro-only feature so you may need to pirate a pro version.

Theo van doesburg style: do it by hand with pencil and gouache.

Rather than use CAD or something. I would just use illustrator make shapes/objects, extrude, save as wire frame and maybe layer up in PS if needs be!

I'd recomend making/getting a 3D model and using a picture of the wire frame as a base. Then run it through illustrator to turn into vector adding whatever effects you want to the vector lines and then run it through Photoshop to add final touches. Should look like the art you posted by the end of the process.

Also it might just be because of the wire frame effect, but it would seem to me like he superimposed a few 3d models or mashed them together to get more lines and male the image a little less obvious.
