bought a G502 a few days ago. Sensor performance has been phenomenal so far. Don't know if it's the sensor or the ergonomics really, but coming from a G402, it really does feel more accurate and easier to use.

A few things though;

1. Why does the fucking left click quack when I let go of it? This is an $80 mouse for fuck's sake.

2. Is it supposed to be impossible to use the mouse while it's in hyperscroll mode? The scroll wheel wobbles from left to right and makes it very difficult to actually use the mouse.
>>
Hate that noise it makes but haven't noticed the scroll wobble
>>
I bought a G602 back in December.
It had been great up until 2 weeks ago.
>a few days after I had been thinking what a great mouse it is
The sensor stops working intermittently for hours or days at a time. I replaced the battery's 3 times and it doesn't effect it. The light on top flashes when it isn't working and even when working properly doesn't seem as sensitive. Kind of disappointing for a mouse that retails for $79.99.
>I paid 39.99

I've been putting off calling Logitech tech support but I guess I will nut up and see if I can get it repaired/replaced
>>

I have the G602. The left mouse button does not work when only using one battery, and the scroll wheel double-scrolls and isn't tactile or "clicky" at all. Other than that, great mouse. My only other complaint I guess is the weight, but that depends heavily on the batteries.
>>
You should have just bought the 402
>>
>>53673006
I sold my G402 for this thing. Really, the only thing I miss from the G402 is the weight. It's much lighter than this beast.
>>
>>53673005

I've had mine a little over a year now and haven't had that problem, you probably should contact them. I use my mouse 6-7 hours a day, if not more

>>53673005
Mine works completely fine with only one battery, all extra buttons as well
And I kinda like the weight

I kinda wanted the g502, because I was iffy on how a wireless mouse was, but i'm pretty satisfied with my 602

Nice mouse, best i've used so far.
Only thing is bad are weights.
You can't add weight without mouse starting to scratch mousepad.

i don't like having the unnecessary latency that comes with a wireless mouse.

>>53674821
oh really? what mouse do you use then. The PMW336 is widely regarded as the best sensor in existence.
>>
The G502 is shit aside from the sensor.
G402 is better but also not great.
MX518/G400 was the mouse king.

G302/303 is okay.

G900 is new one. Interesting
>>
>>53675196
>G402 is better

credibility = lost.

let me guess, you hate the ergonomics and the appearance of the G502? a mouse isn't a fashion statement. besides, the shape feels nice in my hand considering this is my first gaming mouse bar the g402.
>>
>>53672380
It isn't even nearly worth the money.

I'm hating the scrollwheel with all my heart. When in locked mode it's impossible to middle click because it's so fucking hard you always end up scrolling either up or down before you get to the actual click.
When free spinning mode it's the same shit, accidentally input a scroll before you can click.
The left/right wheel click is alright, ended up using both of these as middle click since the actual middle click is horrible.

The main buttons actuation is alright but I've seen much better even on cheaper mice like the kana (35 bucks) or entry level zowie/steeleries.

I think it's pretty heavy and I have hueg stronk hands.

Shape is ok.
>>
>>53675314
wtf are you talking about you moron?

If the appearance was the main issue with the G502 why the fuck would I think the 402 is a lot better? They both look like a pile of shit, but that's not the main problem. The G402 is better mainly because it doesn't weigh as much and is a bit closer to the old G400 shape, but not quite there.

The MX518/G400 shape is the best shape of any mouse out there. It's literally perfect.
>>
It is great except that fucking button that is right in front of my thumb. Stupid fucking placement.
>>
>>53675380
delusional
>>
>>53675196
This, I see everyone raving about the G502, but I prefer the 402.
It's lighter, doesn't have so many unnecessary edges, and doesn't look like this gamery Terminator of a mouse.
>>
>>53675248
A shame it's piss ugly. Fuck this fancy gaymer meme direction design has taken lately with all the retarded LED's and camo and fucking garbage ass names and logos.
>>
>>53675380
That fucking silver triangle on the 502 is the ugliest thing I've ever seen on a mouse.
>>
>>53675380
appearance and shape, same fuckinng thing as ergonomics... Works fine for me, but I don't know about your hands. Mine are pretty normal.
>>
>>53675683
They probably wrap around that micropenis juuust right
>>
>>53675368
middle click is admittedly a bit on the heavy side, I don't use it for gaming. I can actuate it without scrolling though and I'm pretty weak.

Main buttons, I don't know. As I said, this is my first gaming mouse so I don't really have anything to compare it to.
>>
>>53672380
>1. Why does the fucking left click quack when I let go of it? This is an $80 mouse for fuck's sake.
I haven't owned a G502 but some mice have a little plastic nudge (factory batch error?) on the inside next to the click button which causes the sound
you need to screw open the mouse and saw off the little nudge off with a blade
>>
>>53675698
I'd rather have a micropenis than be a sperg who can't handle social situations appropriately. Apparently, tom's guide and PC gamer have micro penises because they also think the G502 is the best mouse.
>>
>>53675727
Do you have a pic of this? My G502 just sounds like it makes the sound because it sticks to my finger.
>>
>>53675380
having owned both mx518 and g400 along with other mice I have to say that they're a bit overrated (albeit still really good)

they're quite heavy and g400 feels weird in your hand compared to mx518

g400 is probably the best looking mouse ever made though

I bought a G502 about a month ago and was slightly disappointed that there wasn't a good mouse like the G502 that could switch between wired and wireless.

Then today they release a G900 which was almost exactly what I wanted to begin with.

Dammit..

Replace it with one of these fammo. Most comfy mouse I've ever used. Takes a little getting used to (you'll probably knock it over for the first couple days until your muscle memory makes you lift your hand a little higher) but it gets rid of wrist strain completely. Thinking of asking for one at work since that one sucks in comparison to muh Anker.
>>
>>53677946
fuck that. if I wanted to go that route I'd get a thumb ball mouse.
