You need to learn how to use hotkeys, stop relying on your shitty slow mouse interactions. Try awesomewm for a while, then if you want more features to play with, combine it with a compositor of some sorts. But seriously, learn how to use your keyboard to interact with your OS.

i like it. i'm used to it and it's comfy for me.
If you don't like it you can use your own icon set terminal program, and wallpaper. plus the taskbar can be configured anyway you like. it wasn't a taskbar, i made it one for my own personal comfy use.

Options aren't the issue here, stop changing the subject, that's not an argument. Your desktop looks like ass, fix it, or don't post a picture of it. It would make a small child sick. As for your terminal, I know it's terminology, anyone who's used linux would know that, the issue is terminology looks overly riced vanilla. If you've ever used Awesome or i3 you would know that you don't need frames around your windows, it's retarded and ugly to do so as with most DEs you can move windows around by holding super and clicking and dragging anywhere on the window, without wasting so much space. Your taskbar is crutch, you can do window switching objectively faster with hotkeys.
