Does mpv play mkd files?
I've just about given up trying to enable vapoursynth and hardware decoding simultaneously.
Whenever I try it falls back to software decoding.Opening video filter: [vapoursynth file=~/.config/mpv/motioninterpolation.vpy]
IT LOADED YAYAO: [coreaudio] 48000Hz stereo 2ch floatp
Using hardware decoding (videotoolbox).
Using conversion filter.
Image formats incompatible or invalid.
Video filter chain:
[vd] 1920x816->0x0 videotoolbox auto/auto CL=mpeg2/4/h264
[in] 1920x816 videotoolbox bt.709/limited CL=mpeg2/4/h264
[scale] ??? [a] <---
[vapoursynth] ???
[out] ???
Cannot initialize video filters.
Falling back to software decoding.
Damn it, it works so well with Linux and Windows.
Baka-mplayer needs developers: http://bakamplayer.u8sand.net
- no needi3
- no superres
- no image doubling
- awful libass engine
- no kodi dsplayer alternative

Are you with the project? I just got it a few minutes ago and really like the interface so far. I may throw a few shekels to the project for helping me watch muh animus.
>>50760535
Why not call it mpvsomething instead of MPlayer?

You can't, unless you use some readback mechanism (like dxva-copy, vaapi-copy or the vdpaurb filter), and for VDA/Videotoolbox there is none.
>>50760872
I'm guessing it's impossible to use vaapi or vdpaurb in OSX even though linux uses it?
>>50761282
Yep, neither vaapi or vdpau works on Os X.
can't compile ffmpeg in windows yet, it looks like yasm is not working on my win 10

Not even with cygwin?
Does the sharpen new option use the gpu?
Or is it still the unsharp cpu filter?
