They refused me SSI 2 years ago and I reapplied recently and was accepted. they had to pay me back in the form of two lump sums, one a sudden $11000 deposit into my checking and the other $4200 in the form of two checks, one was already received and went towards paying bills, the other is coming in 4 months
I have more money than I can spend. And if I don't spend it they will cut off my benefits.

With that said, Id rather use it purposefully than waste it on toys.
If youre dead set on building a computer look to send no more than ~$1400 max (for just the computer, not including monitor, mouse, sound, etc.). Anything more is generally a waste of money, especially with Zen, Pascal and Polaris right around the corner.
Buy some MacBook or something that resells quick, take a small money hit in laundering it, and pay debts and invest the rest with the laundered cash.
