Why does anyone use Spotify in 2016? Play music has superior library, a much less buggy app, lets you upload music to the cloud and you don't have to fuck around with the deprecated libspotify to use it on your Raspberry Pi.

I keep hearing about that Spotify thing but I don't know what it is and I don't care to know. I bet it's something inane as fuck like a messaging service or whatever. You probably should stop using it because it might be a botnet.

That original version of the Pi has a bent pin
I don't like maintaining a music collection.
I like the suggestions that are generated from my listening habits.
I like the phone app.
I don't care that they harvest my taste/listening habits.

tl;dr spotify care more about jewing money from creators of audio products who pay for spotify connect than they care about their customers

>Superior library

Neh, i'll stick with spotify premium for another 3 or 5 years, i pay only 6 bucks for a year of premium.

I don't like Google, it would bother me if they had all the info on me Spotify does.
How can Spotify survive without Steven Wilson and Roy Harper?

I use both. Have my entire library uploaded to Google Play Music and use Spotify for discovery and things I don't have. I can get Apple Music too for the student rate, so I can have Spotify, Apple, and GPM for cheap.

Spotify Connect doesn't even work that great. It fucks up my queue more often than it works.
>>55637544
I know what it is.
I did not know the name and I did not know where to get it.
And besides google indexed all my searches to IO boards instead of output boards.
