Is there a /g/ approved portable speaker? I've been looking into buying one so I don't need to use my shitty phone speaker. Any suggestions?

headphones
>option one
Any radio with batteries and audio in.
>option two
Two speakers, car battery and muxer taped to skateboard.
Anything else is meme just showing how high our life quality is when we can afford to waste money on such things.
Xiaomi speakers are good and not too expensive.
Amazon Basics are good enough for the price

Buy headphones instead. No one wants to hear your music but you.

I play basketball outside and at the gym. I'm not gonna wear headphones while I do that. That's the whole reason I'm looking for a speaker.
UE Roll
loud, pretty good battery, water resistant, has a built-in bungee strap so you can hang it on / wrap it around things
Bose Sounddock Mini anyone?

"No."

Fair enough
there's not many criteria
-battery life
-connectivity (bluetooth/aux/...)
-sound quality
I bought a bose soundlink (II, 4-5 years ago), goes loud as fuck, 6-8 hours of music (more like 5-6 now, but totally lived up (and more) to the specs for 2-3 years)
on top of that you get the girls immediately recognising the brand and actually looking in awe. and the build quality of a tank. I have no comparison, only this one but there's no buyers remorse. There was in the first year, because it cost 300 euros, and it would not have been worth it. Now I know it was the right choice, because it's a good product. Have heard good reviews about the jamboxes too. But if you're in doubt, bose soundlink has your back (not the mini, obviously, but if that's the price range you're looking for, this thread is useless).
good luck on your search!
