Not too bad for my 8Gb one :P
All but one mSD I've purchased has died on me. I avoid them when I can.

If you buy name brand like SanDisk or Kingston then they are pretty reliable, My SanDisk is 3 years old now and still working fine.
I bought a no name brand generic chink 8gb micro sd back in 2009 and it only died on me a few months ago. Not too shabby
You need to start with a hook, eg;
Sharks are perfectly fine
OP, get a shark

Did you know thatfstrim /dev/mmcblk0
works for some (micro)SD Cards?
How well do they hold up to environmental factors, such as heat or electromagnetic energy?
Do I have to be careful if I want them to last, or it's negligible?
