Is there a nicer API for developing GUIs for Windows/Linux/Mac than Qt?
It's comfy as fuck but you have to deploy (at least in Windows) your programs with dozens of enormous DLLs.
Any of you have programmed in it?
The signals and slots system is unrivaled.
JavaFX comes close

Use GTK+, fuck Windows/Mac

it's gay, but it's the only game in town for cross platform GUI's

QT has come a long way.
before that i would have used gtk+ or wxwidgets.
now its QT hands down. no other framework can compete.
javafx is kind of usable but not nearly as good as QT.
not to mention QT has bindings for literally every language including java.

install
I like the interface builder and QML seems nice.
I didn't really understand any of the widget stuff. is it easier, is it better?

tfw no qt
What about C# and its UI stuff? c# is cross-platform right, idk about WPF though

what is static linking?
I tried deploying but it spit out both 64bit and 32bit dlls and won't start.
