second business laptops are a good idea generally. much better than a brand new all plastic celeron POS, especially if you are at least a lil bit tech savvy and keep your 'new' computer up and running :)

/g/ will tell you to get the t420/t520 solely because it has the older keyboard, but the jump from the 2nd gen intel processors to 3rd gen was a big and notable one, Ivy Bridge is still very sufficient to meet today's needs.

Anyways OP, here is some advice
Get a 250/256 gb SSD, 120 isn't sufficient. My T430 came with 120 and now I'm going to upgrade it before I even start using it.
Secondly, 8gb and i5 4000 hd graphics is not bad, but if you are into heavy gaming you can use the expresscard slot for eGPU, and lastly don't forgot to unbotnet your windows 10

also go into your task scheduler and remove the disk diagnostic, telemetry, info sending to microsoft
