Why arent you using a plasma screen? Because too poor? Samsung F8500 or Panasonic Z series. Nothing beats picture accuracy and view angle wise. Quantom Dot is just bad marketing bullshit.

>too poor

What? A 60" plasma is much cheaper than a 60" LCD.
>>
>>55603103
Lol? Last gen 60"+ plasma screens are $4.5+

I don't like my table bending from the weight

I've had my 42" Plasma TV since 2008. Never had to recharge it. I want a bigger one, but the power it uses and the heat it produces kinda turned me off on them. I also can't find one. I'll upgrade my living room TV to a 60" 4k something eventually, but the wife would shit if I did it right now.
>>
60' plasma here, last-gen panels from LG are almost competitive with DLP in terms of price right now, and no bulbs.

A shame they're dead now, but OLED is almost here, anyways I'm happy with my 110" screen and my projector

Stay cucked. Marriage, not even once.

I have a 67" plasma and a 55" OLED. Both are good, but the OLED obviously wins in darker things.

My problem with plasmas is they often give off a really annoying noise.

Some BUZZ louder than old CRTs.

Love my old plasma though, I keep it around in another room. It's getting on though the image is starting to get shitty.

The newer much slimmer plasmas seem to make more noise than the old ones, I read it's the GAS causing stuff to vibrate. Sometimes you can fix this by tightening screws.

Also some plasmas literally come with fans in them, that's a turn off. I don't want my TV making any more noise than it needs to.

If I display that big red NETFLIX screen from the chromecast on my plasma for even ten seconds the NETFLIX is visible for a good ten minutes. So dumb.

I already have a heater in my media room, and said room isnt in a super depressing basement with no light. So, thats why.
