Would it be possible to hackintosh my x220 and dual boot OSx and Ubuntu? I want to do app development for both ios and android.

Yeah. Clover can boot both OS X and Linux.
Is there a respectable place to get ISOs for OSX, or MD5s of good rips? I really wanna try out El Capitan on my Thinkpad but I've become super paranoid over downloading OSes off TPB.

yeah, tbp isn't the best source... Try brokenstones or mac-torrents (both private) or rutracker.

Get a VM ISO of OS X, doesn't matter where from. Then, download El Capitan directly from the App Store, and make a bootable stick with it and Unibeast. Safest way.
OS X distros are not a good idea overall, but its fine to use one to get your clean install. That's why its easier to hackintosh if you already have a Mac or another hackintosh.

Has anybody attempted to build a Mac mini computer? I do want to build one just for the sake of building one but I don't think I would find much use for it since I have a decent gaming desktop that covers my needs.
But I want to relive love and challenge of building a pc. Do you guys think I could sell it? What specific uses do you guys have and any tips?

I have a 2006 mac pro, is it worth throwing my GPU (GTX 950) and a couple x5355 in there? I would mainly be using it for dual booting Windows and OS X for games on the former and FCPX on the latter.

Not sure to be honest. I have a legit key for Windows 10 Pro. I'll look into it further.

I'm just tempted by the 8 cores. I know the single thread performance isn't as good as my i3-4170 though.
I tried doing Hackintosh on my current machine (i3-4170, GTX 950, 8GB RAM, MSI H81M-P33) but I ran into problems with getting the audio to work in with Multibeast and some graphical issues with Second Life.
Also, has anyone gotten 10.12 hackintoshed yet? I have it on my MBP and it's pretty great
any laptops that can be hackintoshed?

A lot of the older thinkpads are capable of mackintosh, and I know the MSI Wind was a popular mackintosh machine.
However, I would think that it's not very optimal and I wouldn't go into it expecting excellent battery life

Why do I have to use the discrete graphics card to power a second monitor when I plug my macbook pro into a second monitor?
It's just in the desktop, not gaming.

My guess is that it does this because it considers it to be "docking" and therefore takes advantage of the discrete GPU for the most possible performance

My moms PC runs with an old ass AMD dual core. Athlon x2 5000 or however it was called. Can't say it runs good though. It's flawless on my laptop with Core 2 Duo SU CPU though ... though it can't deal with the switchable GPU.
