Don't worry. They will fix it with the next driver update. I promise! No really!

AMD POORFAGS CAN'T AFFORD A GOOD GPU AND RESORT TO MAKING UP SHIT
>>55594772
DELET
nvidots were saying that THEIR Dx12_1 was far superior to AMD's DX12. Flame wars and tears on every tech fora. They auto proclaimed their win and predicted that AMD would be finished and bakruot by the time the first DX12 games came to release.
I wonder where they are now?

You try so hard OP...where is the 480?...

Notice how the sites don't post overall score for nvidia? They don't want to show the slower cpu score into the calculations.
Here is AMD, no CPU overhead like nvidia.

D-DELETE TH-THIS!
>>55596317
The CPU scores there are within margin of error assuming they are using the same CPU.

Why does buying Nvidia cause people to be elitist cunts?
Yhe, I wouldn't place my money on Nvidia any time soon.
AMD is being creative, while Nvidia is using the same archetecture for who knows how long now.
Only a matter of time before AMD surpasses Nvidia with Software support.
But then again, lets say AMD takes number 1 spot... Prices go up.
Its the Golden age for AMD, exceptional hardware for next to nothing.
>>55596438
AMD is still using the exact same architecture they were using years ago.
>>55596445
and it's still destroying nvidia's latest.

okay
Didn't the OG Titan have async? Why is it getting beaten by a 7970?

No. It did have double precision compute tho.

I don't understand this. Not even an announcement. nvidia hasn't even released the 1060, not a single review, and at least 6 partner cards have been announced. It's weird.

Guenuine question:
What is async compute, and why is that much important for you guys ?
(owner of a Radeon 7950)
>>55599033
games start using gpu to do math instead of only using cpu. In some math gpu are far far far better than cpu because they have a lot more cores that can do shit. So instead of putting another filter on the gpu that give no visual gain and drain a lot of resources they prefer to use unused gpu cores to do math like AI or data crunch (like calculate the damage of x monster do to y equipment).
Nvidia architecture is not made for that, basically they can do only graphic computation or math computation at one time. Switching from one to another destroy the performance. Instead amd gpus can do both at the same time.
