Hi /g/ im new here, i was just thinking about buying a budget gaming laptop. My budget is around 1000 pounds. As im living in the UK and i travel around alot so a desk top is not my first choice.
I am here asking for advice on getting the best budget gaming laptop.

budget = low quality and shitty hardware
laptop = small and mobile computer with a long battery life
gayming = resource heavy activity for children that needs expensive, power hungry and very hot running hardware

You won't get bottlenecked if you have anything about a macbook air. Laptop cpus are damn fine and vidya barely tasks them. Any ghetto ass i5 with 28W+ will be fine for 99% of games.

Absolutely nothing if you don't have shitty cooling. Specially if you use an external GPU, you're not going to have to deal with it, since the cooling you have is meant for the entire SOC with cpu+gpu and the latter will be deactivated.

Get a g751.
No skylake cpu, but you get the i7 and can maybe squeeze in the 980m for way cheaper than the newest models.
