HD-T is a great backup site. They have all the popular tv shows and films from high quality groups. They also have solid internals: Kralimarko is one of the best groups around for remux and while they have fallen down in quality HDmaniacs and HiDt still release good encodes. It's not god-tier like HDB but it's really easy to seed and they have no HitNRuns. Also, clean interface. I'd say it's a pretty good site for those that don't wanna bother with AHD or can't get in patrician HDB.

I perfectly know the amount of skills it take to prepare a good avisynth script but to be completely honest most encoders these days over do it. Like using a few zones is fine but when you get encodes "fixing" over 20-30 scenes with bullshit functions and unnecessary f3kdb then it gets way too autistic...When you're watching the encode in motion you won't even realize. Using placebo settings, the right CRF value to avoid bloat and keep transparency and tweaking qcomp and AQ is enough for a very good encode. Trust me, I know cause I've been in the game for a long ass time and I've seen it all by this point.

If you were not aware, a few days ago there was a post here about a group of people that was actively logging the IP addresses from IPTorrents' peers and a large number of these IPs was dumped on a GitHub page.
The post was understandably removed from this sub and some time later the GitHub page was suspended as well. However, I feel the members from that place deserve to know about the situation. Regardless of how you feel about the tracker/owner and whether or not you think an IP address is sensitive information, you should be aware this is happening.
From what I know about IPT, there's a strong possibility that this situation is not even being acknowledged on their own site and forums, so I thought the least we could do was inform people through public channels like this sub. You also need to know this seems to be ongoing. I will certainly not post any links or sensitive information, but a very recent update claims to have IPs in the tens of thousands so there is a reason to stay informed and on the lookout.
If you have been seeding from your home connection these last few days there's a possibility your IP has been logged. This is less of a concern for people using VPNs or seedboxes, but if you're not using any of that the best advice I can give is to stop your torrents and look for a way to seed anonymously if you wish to keep doing so. You may also want to change your current IP address by disconnecting or resetting your router to allow an automatic IP change, calling your ISP or any other means available to you.
You also have the option of not caring about it. Maybe you don't think it's a big deal, maybe you do. But who knows what other type of information they might be collecting so please be careful and take steps to ensure your privacy. Hopefully smarter people than me can weigh in on this and give better advice or information.
