How much of math does one need to know in order to do something meaningful with computer science?
Can you name some areas of math? I'll start with what I'm learning or intend to learn.

4. Statistics
Basics of philosophy (namely Logic) wouldn't hurt.

I took 1 semester of descrete math in high school and it helped a bit. I'm nlt sure how deep it goes but I hear it's important.

Basic math, logics. You don't need anything else, elementary school maths will be enough. You just need common sense and practice. Everything else is only useful if you're specialising for something.
