I looked if there are howtos which show ways to change the battery anyway, if it should be really bad one day before I bought it. It's not that great but at least it has a micro SD card slot and runs custom roms, so it should be usable for quite a while. It will be only my second Android device.

I'm no expert at all but I imagine a normal USB to micro USB, maybe a USB C, I've not owned one nor do I think my answer will be close to correct but chargers are fairly standardised so if it has a plug and a cable just swap the plug to one you already own.
