I run my own server on a VPS. I'm not really looking for anonymity. I'm more concerned about local snooping on public networks, and stuff like that. Its also convenient to have a static IP when traveling since I use a lot of systems that use IP ACLs.
Since there is no congestion, I find that it typically has better performance.

I use one each time I torrent a film etc. Got into the habit years ago when the MPAA / Web Sheriff etc were threatening to destroy lives over downloading. Just do it naturally now.
I'm guessing IncognitoVPN is also terrible? The last thing I want to do is hand over some money to find the service shut down in a few months.
