I have that one BenQ gaymen monitor that has a HDMI output port. It's a 60hz monitor but I "overclocked" it to 75hz. I know it's not 144hz but that 15hz difference is already huge. It's just enough to make get away from that 60hz ghostly jittery lag, going into entry level smoothness. The only drawback is, you have to hit 75 fps to get that smoothness, and 30 fps (videos for example) look a bit less smooth.
