German here. I get almost everything via DHL. They don't even ring the door any more (I like to sleep in, guess the guy noticed), they just put in my garage and I get a mail that it's there.
No missed mail, no hassle, just convenient.

Worst part is, the post office is literally just a few blocks from my house, yet if I know my package is there and I try to pick it up in person, they literally never allow me to take it cause their shit is never sorted and retrieving my package would be just too much work for them.
