I have 200.00 this month to buy a new motherboard and 200.00 + (whatevers left over) next month to buy a new cpu. Any suggestions pls?
>>
here is a suggestion: keep saving your money.

if you can only afford to buy one component a month you need to evaluate your finances
>>
>>55541788
I'd basically waste it on stupid shit otherwise. It's extra money I'll have so want to out it towards a new low-mid end gaming rig. Want to keep it around 200.00 each for each crucial part.
>>
Put it in a savings account. The money I mean.

The older I get the more I realize how utterly trivial most of the shit we buy actually is.

And the future without a considerable nest egg is grim as hell.
>>
>>55541819
Then learn how to save and stop impulse buying stupid shit.

Poor people stay poor for a reason.

How is a brand new CPU trivial? That shit improves your life the moment you buy it.

Christ sake. I would have been better off posting "can anyone pls name a mobo and cpu for under 400.00?"

Can I pls get a suggestion on what to buy and not financial advice? I'm good on my finances /g/tards not everyone lives in their mom's basement and I don't feel like going into why I'm getting an extra few hundred bucks over the course of the next few months.

So the lower end i7s are still better than say an i5 6600? I'm not even gonna bother overclocking this new rig. I burnt my old pc out too fast doing it last time

Yes that is true, however you definitely still live at home. Use your summer vacation to earn money and actually manage it correctly. Nothing dumber than buying a fucking motherboard or cpu just to have it sit for a month

I actually live in my own apt with my gf, good try though.

Now do you have anything of worth to post or are you on perma shitpost mode today and every other day?
>>
>>55542077
ask your gf what mobo and cpu she suggests and get back to us with the answer

she needs love too
>>
>>55541939

We're just saying.

If you were financially where you should be, you would not even have to consider $200 for a purchase.

Put that money in a savings account. And keep saving. You'll thank us when your retirement or the singularity comes around and you suddenly find yourself out of a job.

I thought /g/ was where the tech savy people hung out not the financial advising grandparents. Ffs please suggest me a mobo/cpu under 450.00
>>
>>55542183
Savings accounts are pleb-tier. He should invest in index funds, REITs and bonds ASAP.
