> be 1337 h4x0r
> trying to get into anon's encrypted loli folder
> run brute force cracking program
For simplicity's sake let's assume you're a retard and use a numeric password with up to 9 digits, that's 1111111110 combinations (with and without leading 0's). The chance of his first guess being correct (assuming your passwors is random and the program tries random keys) is 1/1111111110.
He starts trying out combinations, noting the ones that didn't work so he doesn't try them again.
After an hour, his program has tried 10000000 of the keys, leaving 1101111110 keys. So his chances of getting the key right with the next guess have increased to 1/1101111110.
If you choose a different password, then there is a chance that the new password is one that's on the "invalid passwords" list because the cracker tried it when he old password was still the correct one. That means the chance of him getting he correct key after you change the passqors is reset to 1/1111111110 assuming he simply cycles through the "incorrect" ones after he's done.
