I don't even use my phone that much right now, but still this fucking thing is doing something on the background, even without any internet connection!
I wouldn't mind that much if it wasn't consuming all the power for nothing.
Can't even stop this shit or uninstall it or its updates!
Install cyanojejmod. Don't install GAPPS.
Alternately root and remove that shit.

Well, if none of your apps depend on it just mv it.
Open the terminal and pastesu -c 'mount -o remount,rw /system; mv `pm path com.google.android.gms | cut -d: -f2` /sdcard/; reboot'

On a second thought naa...too risky don't wanna fuck up my phone completely.
The only thing that has slowed the battery hogging so far is turning the location stuff off in Gaccount settings.
I have an app called Disable Service, but it won't allow me to uncheck any of the Gservice shit, just "Wait" and screen flashes.
It's like a bloody virus I'm telling ya! Buut seems to be getting more manageable without all the GPS nonsense.
