Because Cortex A57 is an old design. Cortex A72 is newer and more efficient. despite running on an older manufacturing process it runs cooler and faster.

Luckily managed to get the shop to take it back from me eventhough it was against their policy.
The Z3+ has the first version of the SD810, which had hoorifying overheating issues, which is why it was quickly discontinued.
The camera shuts down in about 30 seconds to a minute because of heat, there is monstrous throttling and I haven't owned the phone for long enough to find out but I think it even had random reboots.
Zuk Z2 Pro ended as a shitty product from Lenovo.
I have seen comparison videos with the LeMax2 and the OP3.
The camera of the OP3 is dominating both devices.
