Thunderbolt is better, though. You can upgrade your ethernet adapter with the times instead of being stuck with a Gigabit or worse, Fast Ethernet, adapter. They have the same number of USB ports, though, so I don't know what you're talking about.
>>
>on my second Macbook, each with two thunderbolt ports
>have never used them once, not a single time

Are any thunderbolt accessories worth having? Seems like USB3 has made them redundant, especially with eGPUs never panning out.

Pretty unfortunate that you were forced to buy the official adapter

What was the situation there?

Jew employees can blame themselves for this.

Usually both my thunderbolt ports are used when I'm at home. One is for ethernet, the other one for my monitor.

Thunderbolt hubs are pretty cool for that purpose too. Just plug all your shit in the hub at home (monitor, ethernet, keyboard, mouse, external drives for backup, whatever else you need) and you can attach your macbook with a single port. It's pretty neat.

That was the case for IBM, and my computer's patents (such as its French translation, "ordinateur") are from them.

This is straight up theft and I'm surprised they haven't been sued for it.

Creating better and much needed update to BIOS, not as clean as I want but still nice update standard.

Everyone and their dog only "loosely" follows the new protocol. Resulting is mass compatibility issues compared to the working stable BIOS it replaced.

How can all these companies work to literal build a standard, then fail to follow it so badly?
>>
>be Apple
>overprice everything by dramatic amounts
>make crazy profits
>never give anything back to consumers

>pocket all of it
>spend some on R&D to create new devices that will just bring in more fucking profit
>keep all the profits offshore outside of the US where Apple was founded and headquartered
>quarter trillion bucks and never paying taxes on it like they should

I could go on but basically everything Apple has ever done is scummy.
>>
3.5 GB

Regional monopolies.

Patent wars.

Lobbying (which is literally legal way to bribe)

No refunds even after account hack(Sony)

Inserting backdoors into hardware

Creating separate standard for anything for a device just so you can have monopoly on it.( vita and memory card, applel and their chargers and other ports, gsync)

Gimping your older hardware with new drivers to force people to upgrade. Or Gimping hardware with drivers in general(tesla, Nvidia)

Requiring shitload of unneeded account permissions for an app.

Artifical scarcity and planned obsolescence

Pay2win games
