90% of people are going to put a case on their phone anyways because of the fear of damaging their perfectly fragile and aesthetic phone. Without the thickness it feels much more prone to dropping anyways.

This is why the Oneplus One is great. The back has sort of a fine grain sandpaper texture, so it doesn't slide out of your hand too easily, and a metal bezel which seems to protect the screen. Really hoping the rumors aren't true. I fucking hated Apple for so long and they finally wow'd me with the 6s, its a pretty good phone and I've liked using it but now they're already fucking it up what the hell.
The new ipod nano is so small and weighs practically nothing. It's as thin as it can go I'm pretty sure, the headphones I saw plugged into it, the wire and housing for the jack was thicker. The iphone still has a little bit to go before it reaches the limit of the 3.5mm jack so apple removing the jack is because of thinness issues is probably not the reason why.
