So last night I had a quick thread about which is the best 1070 after market model you can get.
For some reason, /g/ decided that shit brands like Gainward and Palit are better than stuff like Asus and Gigabyte?
Were you guys trolling or what?
For the past 5 years I've read nothing but bad stuff about those, like using cheap materials and not binning at all.
Which is the best 1070? Opinions?

The reference 1070 is actually quite good, so you can't go wrong there.
3rd party boards I like are EVGA and MSI

I always bought msi, and is my first choice. but gaming x is at 550eur here, too much.
msi aero looks nice, I like blower fan, but everyone says is shit
palit, gainward, inno3d and kfa2 is chink shit
I don't trust gigabyte
know nothing about evga
asus is too expensive.
anyone says founders edition is shit
and result is that I have fuckint 460eur ready for a 1070 and market can't provide one which is not shit at that price.
SHIT. if anyone can confirm that FE or msi aero is not shit for personal experience I will buy one in a sec.

On topic, go for EVGA or MSI. Both have decent factory overclocks, build quality and customer support, though the latter is better with EVGA.

1) doesnt fry your dp ports
2) doesnt flicker above 60 hz
3) doesnt give you black screens
4)doesnt loose its signal if your power off your monitor while you have it on a dp port
5) will stop the stutterfest when async is on
6) actually have good perfomance..
