I was so exited for this device till I finally found out it will only have 4gb of ram? What the fuck Samsung? I was expecting 6gb of ram not 4!!! Guess o will have to wait for galaxy note 8.
Please explain why you think you need more than 4GB.
I want detailed explanations of how you will fill it up when everyone who has a 4GB current phone permanently has over 1GB free at all times.

When multitasking I can bring mine down to 400-500mb available. But yea more than 4GB is a meme at the moment. Unless you're regularly switching between 15 chrome tabs or some stupid shit

It's dynamic allocation. It uses RAM where ever it can until it starts running low, then it reallocates the least used data still being held in RAM for any further data.
Basically more RAM just let's you cache more things. It's nice if you want to seemlesly switch between 1440p YouTube and a large photo gallery or similar. But for everything else it's just kinda wasted.

I have never had a issue with my Note 5 because of memory, I don't download many things. I keep my apps to a minimal and usually only keep things that I really need.
I think this Note 5 can easily last me a few years if it doesn't break.
