Lets have a thread about search engines /g/. What do you use? Are ones like bing, startpage, DDG, yahoo search, searx, etc a good alternative to google? Are they botnet?

i'm using ddg on a regular basis. it takes some getting used to becuase it lists the shit it finds different than google. it sucks for comlicated searches though - i still use google if i can't find what i need on the first page.

I agree, I tried to switch to DDG and it's pure shit, even more for french searchs
And it is in safe search mode by default which means no porn and it pisses me off…

I use DDG on a daily basis at work and at home and the search results are not as bad as the yahoo ones. the only thing I miss are googles inurl and filetype searches
