why is this browser so buggy?
Images are sometimes not shown due to bandwidth/network limitations. Refreshing the page usually helps.

I just got done with a 1-week ticket about a "Windows 10 driver problem" that ended up being a firefox problem
>>
Question is, how stupid so you have to be to mistake a driver problem for a browser problem?

how do i make firefox have the same width as safari?

also, the shit uses more battery power than chrome, so yeah it's not optimized
>>
>>55499746

bluetooth issue.

Ended up being firefox that couldn't handle the bluetooth auto-detection. Every other browser did fine.

Same problem that I have with Firefox on my Surface 3...

wtf, i thought chrome was supposed to be the battery hog
>>
>>55499844
oh ffs, it just went up to 5:05h battery remaining

fuck firefox
>>
>>55499844
>>55499856

Firefox is an even bigger battery hog than chrome, let that sink in.

There is literally no reason to use firefox nowadays.
>>
>>55499726
Firefox on Windows is pretty slow, I would reccomend running Chromium with ungoogled-chromium on Windows or Iridium, Blink as a browser engine is really spiffy on Windows.

I'm not saying that chrome is the best of all browsers but that any browser is better than firefox.

Personally I don't like google and I'm not shilling their products but you have to be a fanboy to use firefox. Its as if you like eating shit.

>Let's boyscott Mozilla, by supporting Google.

You have a irrational grudge aganist Mozilla, or a shill from Google trying smear Mozilla. Either way, you are a hypocrite if your boyscott Mozilla and support Google.

What the fuck does constructive criticism have to do with facts?
It's a BOTNET. Google is literally tracking you through your browser. Need I say more???
>b-but the internet is do--
I SAID BROWSERS, NOT THE INTERNET.
>>
>>55500693
This doesn't affect anything within the browser itself.
It's still functional and usable.
>>
For years, almost nothing about Firefox has changed to make it more buggy. It's just that everyone's standards went up.
>>
>>55501125
so? I'm ok with that if it means I get best performance

I just dont know these things, but i googled it and gave me links to refreshing firefox which I'll follow.

Thanks for the help I'll let you know if this works.

Their releases after ~45 are buggy as hell. e10 brings only problems. There was a bug where the SSL badge's data wouldn't follow the navigation but display the outdated info from the last SSLd page instead.

I've pinned my browser to esr and am currently happy.

Unfortunately, Chromium is not a good replacement because the navbar can't be hidden and tab groups are missing. Though it's impressive that even dev snapshots are so much more stable than their Firefox equivalents, or even the release version.

Mozilla is in for some downhill movement.

>>
>>55499726

>why is this browser so buggy?

Explain. It crashes and freezes up randomly when it's got a huge load on its back (tabs/extensions). Blame it on the bloatware, irresponsible design, and your insufficient RAM.

>>55499772

This is true. Switch to GNU IceCat

>>55499930

It depends on how much memory is available. Chrome moves faster on less RAM and slower on more.

Firefox sucks now. Pointing this out is not shilling for the other team.

Switch to IceCat, bro. FF sold us out for Pocket.

>>55500538
>>55500693

Diversity quotas instead of hiring the best coders is one possible aspect of SJMozilla that would affect development. They will add in meme shit to appeal to normies whilst alienating power users because of terrible development.

>>55501198

No. Bloatware.

Preach. Install GNU IceCat.

1st in order to browse install a new OS GNU,
2d install icecat(a firefox with custom about:config)
You see what laziness did to you? Instead of searching for about:config settings or just using a custom user.js from ghack you installed a meme OS and a meme browser, congrats!

I'm on Window-into-your-data 7. The developers were nice enough to provide an executable for the operating system.

GNU IceCat is Firefox ESR without proprietary shit, including Pocket. It is FF in every other way.

I am not at all surprised that you know fuck all about it yet would pretend as if you did.

As for the about:config, it works the same way a normal Firefox release does. Switching to it for about:config differences would only produce minor changes, if any at all. You talk as if Mozilla made the about:config even readable without having to look up every single name.

You know how to disable Firefox Hello in about:config? Loop.Enabled. Yep. Totally could have figured this out myself. The name is right there, after all.

that's because of Windows 10, you silly cuck.
