Chrome looks okay, but Firefox's design seems inconsistent and just sort of ugly in my opinion.
I use Vivaldi. Meme browser aside, it's Chromium with a different and more more customizable UI akin to Firefox (i.e. you can have vertical tabs, address bar on the bottom, etc... without any addons.
But if you want addons, Vivaldi supports Chrome extensions.
I hate the name and the icon, but as far as a browser, it gives me the speed of Chromium with the customization of Firefox, with much less botnet than Chrome.

I haven't seen any benchmarks, but the performance seems to be somewhere between Firefox and Chrome. I have an ancient i5-750 and shitty Comcast internet though, so I'm more inclined to blame them.

1) RAM usage is split into essential and non-essential parts, and
2) When other applications request RAM it'll be made instantly available.
