question for BSD/Linux fags
how can you find out if a program was compiled against the OpenSSL or LibreSSL library?
NTPD for example: when i do
> # ldd /usr/local/sbin/ntpd
it shows
> libssl.so.38 => /usr/local/lib/libssl.so.38
is that LibreSSL or OpenSSL?

that's a pretty good question
chances are it's using the one on your system included with your distro

Good graphic designers cost money.
figured it out, LibreSSL consists of these shared libs:
> libssl.so.38
> libtls.so.10
> libcrypto.so.37
OpenSSL is these:
> libssl.so.8
> libcrypto.so.8
> libc.so.7
