yes you an always remove a de or us emore than one. not much pint . but yes. another great thing about linux.i used to do netinstall with --noinstall-recommdsn often. get it pretty clean and grab what I what. Honestly i prfer ubuntu when it comes to full DE's instead of debian. but both are good and not so different
