My Nexus 5 got the lower button issue, where it got stuck in a boot loop because the power button was constantly 'on'.
I fixed the button, but it's still stuck in a boot loop. I'm going to switch motherboards with my brothers N5 (which has a fucked screen), but I really want a new phone.

I have T-Mobile and have their unlimited high speed data plan. Use about 100-300GB a month depending how much I torrent that month. Unlimited data is so good that I flat out canceled my home ISP and now just use the 14GB of mobile hotspot to check email or browse news/4chin on my laptop.

It's complicated. For one, its kinda big and im not really use to it. I did get it for a decent price of $400 for the 64GB one but I now realize that I dont even need that much space. The screen sometimes glitches out and I have to restart the phone. It also blows that this phone might not even get an Android N update because fuck Lenovo. Also the battery life is horrendous but turbo charge kinda makes up for it...
You know what, yes. Yes, I do regret not getting a Nexus 5x when it was on sale for like $269. I realized that I dont even use my phone a lot so something like the 5x would of been perfect... Whatever live and learn I guess.

Honestly I don't mind the G3. With Fulmics I don't have any performance issues and the battery lasts longer than I've ever had my Nexus 5 last me, plus a removable battery and MicroSD card slot. Though it's still stupid it has a 1440p display when it wasn't really optimized for it.

No scratches so far on both sides, not even small ones that you have to look for against light. have dropped 2 times on a wooden floor at about 1m, zero damage. After 6 months still looks like new. Runs apps nicely and smooth. Screen is superb, can watch hevc 1080p videos smoothly. I recommend this phone.

My Android history follows with comments.
1) Had a Samsung Moment Loved the slide out keyboard keeping the screen real estate open. If there was a updated version I would get. Could type like mad on that little keyboard. I think I had a 16 or 32 gig SDHC in it. When it went from 1.6 to 2.1 it improved bunches. GF hijacked it for her use (SMS woman!)
2) Nexus S still a working phone but when the battery started to go it became a desk clock. Great little phone. No extra junk. Clean OS. Lack of up-gradable memory and batt benched it, Ran out of app space. Still grab it off desk clock stand for app use and camera today. Took it from 2.3 to 4.1 Battery went sour and decided to put replace battery money into new phone. Never used it for music carried a dedicated MP3 player
3) Samsung SIII Had features that the Nexus did not offer, was cheaper and in retrospect a great choice. Lots of accessories and critically Mem Expansion (goodby MP3 player) (Nexus 4 was available but lack of removable battery, neat share features which I actually used, NO expandable mem slot!! and only 8 or 16Gig max mem. ( My Nexus S had the same amount of mem as the 4 )
4) another SIII original SIII was killed in action and I changed phone plans so got another SIII for a song + goodies. All the goodness of previous phone. No compelling reason to get later model and pay money.
5) Note 4 IR blaster, expandable SD card mem slot, stylus, removable battery ( did not get Note 5 which was also available because it's a downgrade IMOHO and more money for less) (Now:160Gig of storage which has 70% in use for my music )
I had a choice at purchase time of Nexus 5X or 6P which were much more expensive and much less memory and features. The Marshmallow update was a definite improvement on my Note 4 the power management has turned my phone into a enduro device. I love the Stylus. Has the must have 128 Gig SDXC card slot. Has a FM radio which I use.
