I figure I really should stop using utorrent 2.2.1 before someone hacks my gibson.

Between qbittorrent and deluge, which would you personally recommend?

All those are literally rtorrent. rtorrent is a frontend for libtorrent which is used by all 3 clients. Yea yea rasterbar vs rakhasa and configuration is different, but it works the same way.

Also utorrent has piss poor performance. Anything that uses utp does really.

Every day on the news you hear of someone getting hacked because of an old uTorrent version. Face it: for all you know, Deluge/Tixati/Transmission/gTorrent/BitFlood might have more security-breaking bugs than ol' uTorrent.
