There should be no leniency for hit and runs. You should be required to seed 1:1, no matter what. That way, the torrent is never unseeded. It will always be seeded because if it comes to it, the lone seeder will have to keep going until another lone seeder comes along.

25% hot/fresh enough to seedbox cuck (OR <10 seeders, seedbox is faster) then sftp locally.
25% ratiocuckage, never to be downloaded locally
